About David Campos

David Campos is a French-Portuguese Kizomba and Semba instructor, DJ, and event promoter from Paris. With a background in acting and dance, he brings a strong sense of musicality, expression, and connection to his teaching.

​Since 2010, David has helped introduce Kizomba and Semba to dancers in New York, New Jersey, and communities across the United States. He has shared his work through classes, workshops, festivals, and performances in North America and abroad. His approach emphasizes clear foundations, precise movement, and respect for the Angolan culture behind the dances.

About Guida Rei

Born and raised in Portugal, Guida Rei grew up surrounded by music and dance. Her connection to Angolan rhythms began at home and deepened through the Angolan community in Portugal. She moved to the United States in 2001 and has taught alongside David Campos since 2011.

​Guida has shared Kizomba and Semba through classes, workshops, festivals, and community events. She brings warmth and care to her teaching, helping dancers grow in confidence and connect through music. Her work with David reflects a shared commitment to the dances and the people who bring them to life.
